My name is Kowshik Raj, a graduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas pursuing my Masters in Business Analytics. I'm an organized, adaptable and avid philomath, qualities which got me hooked on to field of data science and machine learning. Constantly working to provide value and insights to any organization I'm a part of, I'm a budding and aspiring data scientist looking to make it big in the data science field. Gained invaluable experience in data analytics with the largest bank in India, successfully executing responsibilities in financial data analysis, Excel pivot tables, and process improvements that garnered increased efficiency and productivity.
Served as a member of a four-person team examining financial data and applying statistical analysis to identify two or more patterns in currency exchange rates.
Leveraged expertise in pivot tables in Microsoft Excel to calculate 12 million rupees in loans disbursed to clients on a quarterly basis.

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION USING PYTHON
January 2020 - April 2020
Designed and developed Recommendation System on Netflix data using Deep learning, Hybrid Method, Content-Based, and Collaborative Filtering. Obtained lowest RMSE 0.8763 using Model-based Collaborative Filtering, based on matrix factorization.
